| Eric L. Maschoff is a shareholder with the law firm of Workman Nydegger and an adjunct professor of law at the University of Utah College of Law. Mr. Maschoff’s practice covers virtually all aspects of intellectual property law, including advising clients on a variety of patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret matters. He has extensive experience in the procurement of U.S. and foreign patent rights, primarily in the computer, electronics, semiconductor, communications and software/Internet fields. In addition to patent preparation and prosecution, Mr. Maschoff has also worked as a member of the firm’s litigation department, where he focused on complex intellectual property litigation, including cases involving medical devices, computer software, and communications technologies. He also has extensive experience in the preparation of legal opinions on complex patent validity, infringement and enforcement questions on computer, communications and electronics patents. Mr. Maschoff has also been responsible for various due diligence and clearance investigations relating to new product releases and the transfer of intellectual property assets. During law school, Mr. Maschoff was a William H. Leary Scholar, a semifinalist in the Traynor Moot Court Competition, and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award, Intellectual Property Law. Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Maschoff was an electrical and systems engineer for the IBM Corporation at its San Jose and Tucson development sites. Mr. Maschoff obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1984. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1993, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. |

| Thomas M. Hardman is a shareholder with the intellectual property law firm of Madson & Austin. Tom's practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, primarily in the computer, electronics, semiconductor, communications and software/Internet fields. Tom also has experience in the preparation of formal legal opinions on a variety of complex legal issues, including patent validity, infringement and enforcement questions. Tom's practice also addresses various other intellectual property matters, including educating clients on intellectual property issues and strategies. Tom is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the state and federal courts of Utah.
Tom obtained his law degree from the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall). At Boalt, Tom served as an Annual Review Advisor for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal and was awarded the Law and Technology Certificate upon graduation. Prior to law school, Tom graduated cum laude with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah. Tom was a member of Tau Beta Pi, an engineering honor society, and the Golden Key national honor society. Tom received a Presidential Scholarship, an Electrical Engineering Departmental Scholarship, and the Sy Ramo Scholarship for his undergraduate studies. While attending school, Tom also worked part-time for Lockheed Martin, where he was involved in software development. Tom's publications include Signtech USA Ltd. v. Vutek, Inc., 15 Berkeley Tech. Matthew Buchanan is a registered patent attorney and of Counsel to Dunlap, Codding & Rogers, P.C., a national technology law firm headquartered in Oklahoma City with offices in Washington, D.C. and Northern Ohio. Mr. Buchanan focuses his practice on intellectual property issues confronted by start-up and established organizations in the medical and chemical arts, including pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies. He also assists clients with FDA-related regulatory matters and the development and use of intellectual property and regulatory-based competitive intelligence information. |

Mark Sandbaken, Ph.D., is the Director of Intellectual Property at Seattle Genetics, Inc., a biotechnology company developing monoclonal antibody-based therapies for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune disease. Before joining Seattle Genetics, Mr. Sandbaken was an associate with Townsend and Townsend and Crew, LLP in its Seattle office. Prior to joining Townsend and Townsend and Crew, Mark was an associate with Parsons Behle & Latimer in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mark has a B.A. in Biology from Carleton College (Northfield, Minnesota) and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before entering law, he conducted post-doctoral research at the University of Utah (Salt Lake City) and at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee). Mark earned a J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1998 and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Mark is a member of the state bars of Washington and Utah (inactive). | Robert Ryan Morishita is a founder of the Morishita Law Firm. Robert Ryan Morishita earned a B.S. degree, magna cum laude, in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah in 1995. While an undergraduate, Ryan was inducted into the Pi Tau Sigma mechanical engineering honor society and the Golden Key National Honor Society. Ryan earned a J.D. degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1998 and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While attending law school, Ryan was a staff member of the Utah Law Review and authored Patent Infringement After GATT: What is an Offer to Sell?, 1997 Utah Law Rev. 905.
